Well, we did it! We made it through another busy summer
season, mostly unscathed! We cannot believe how many people walked
through our doors in July and August (20,325 to be precise), and sold a
lot of burgers (2,762 to be precise). It was the summer of broken
things...our fish fryer went kaput so we had no fish and chips,
calamari, or fried oysters for 3 weeks as the new one was on it's way.
Our deck heaters all decided to be on the fritz within days of each
other (luckily it was a hot summer!), the walk in refrigerator had
problems off and on, and countless other little issues...and yet somehow
we managed to stay in good spirits (for the most part) and we are all
still standing! A special thanks to our locals who endure these few
months with us, who are patient when there might be a 1.5 hour wait, who
cheer us on and who rejoice when they get their restaurant back in
September. Thank you! And no thank you is big enough to our amazing
crew...seriously relentless shifts that they handled with grace!
Onto what's coming up:

summer red on draft...it's out of this world!
